Fun in Niagara Falls, Canada

We just got back from one of our favorite family destinations. Our favorite area of Niagara Falls, Canada...Clifton Hill.
Looking up Clifton Hill from the Falls.
Adam, Alexis and I in front of the American Falls.
A kind stranger was nice enough to take a picture of the four of us.
                                                                Lex and I.
As we were waiting for our lunch at one of our favorite eateries, Kellsey's
The four of us played putt-putt and had a great time.
Alexis got a hole in one!
Some longstanding landmarks, these following places have been on Clifton Hill for more than 30 years!
Click on any image to see closer. Count Dracula's House.
                               Frankenstien's Haunted Castle.
                                                    Our favorite ice-cream stand.
When the kids were younger, they lived in this place.
Alexis photographed Greg in front of his favorite movie camera at the wax museum.
                                                         Yes, Lex is in there...somewhere!

Spending Time with our Best Friends!

We had the most wonderful time with our best friends and neighbors, Becky and Paul. The four of us drove up to Frankenmuth, Michigan. Among other places, we visited Bronner's, which is the LARGEST Christmas Store in the world. It's the size of 7-football fields! Here we are in front of Bronner's Christmas parade float.
Our best friends Becky and Paul. This was taken by Bronner's Silent Night Chapel. It was so beautiful! Click on image to enlarge.
Greg and I by the beautiful chapel. We're really in the Christmas spirit now! It is so beautiful!

We're proud of Adam as he just completed his Eagle Scout Project for Boy Scouts. This photograph was in yesterday's The Chronicle-Telegram newspaper. It's hard to believe Adam started scouting way back in the second grade. Way to go ADAM!!!! (Click on this image to read caption)

Aloha from Hawaii

Here's a few candids from our recent trip to Hawaii. They're in no specific order. Here we are receiving a fresh Lei greeting at the Honolulu Airport after a long flight and a 3-hour layover in L.A.
Five hours in the air from Cleveland to L.A., then another 5 hours from L.A. to Honolulu. Needless to say, we were T-I-R-E-D and looked like zombies after the whole day of flying!
Getting ready for dinner on Waikiki Beach with Adam.
Alexis 'hangin' loose'! Click on any picture to enlarge!

Greg and I just before our fabulous dinner on Waikiki. We stayed at the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Hotel, which was the same hotel Greg and I honeymooned at some 19-years ago.  It was just beautiful and wonderful to return to Waikiki with the kids!!!! We renewed our vows at the hotel and Adam and Alexis were our witnesses!
Alexis and me at dinner overlooking Waikiki Beach and Diamond Head at night.
Adam snapped this picture of Greg in front of the King Kamehameha statue during a circle-island tour they took. Alexis and I spent the day shopping at the International Marketplace.
Adam meets a real hero! Adam met a Pearl Harbor survivor during a visit to Pearl Harbor and the Arizona Memorial. Adam purchased his book and this hero inscribed the book to Adam.
Outside our cottage in Maui. We stayed at the Royal Lahaina Resort.
Taking a shot with one of the funniest entertainers at the Polynesian Cultural Center. This was a wonderful place! We LOVED IT there! Greg really loved it there because this is where Elvis filmed Paradise Hawaiian Style, which is one of Greg's favorite Elvis movies.
A shot of Adam, Alexis and me boarding our flight to Maui from Honolulu.
The back of our cottage in Maui. We stayed 4-nights on Oahu and 6-nights on Maui. Our favorite island was definitely Maui!
A beautiful evening shot of a partial rainbow in west-Maui.
Alexis and me hanging on one of the branches of the largest Bannion Tree in Lahaina.
The front of our cottage in Maui.
Us overlooking the beach at our resort in Kannapali. We all went swimming and snorkeling down below. In the distant background is Black-rock where Greg and the kids went snorkeling everyday. They even swam with a huge 200 pound sea turtle that swam up near Black-rock. It was AMAZING! The island you see behind me to the right is Lanai where we took a 1-day snorkeling trip.
Alexis and Greg played some games outside our pool.
A pretty shot, click on it to enlarge to see the coconuts growing on this palm tree.
The pool at our Maui resort as it was quite windy that day!
The pathway to our cottage.
Another view of our cottage. We had the ever present and beautiful fragrance of the Pulmaria flower.
The pathway to our beach and pool from our cottage.
If you click on this image you can see some dolphins swimming in the background.  This was on our snorkeling trip to the island of Lanai. We had the most wonderful 10-day trip to Hawaii. We will always remember how beautiful it was! ALOHA EVERYONE!!!!!!!
