Our Summer Vacation in Ocean City, New Jersey

Summer fun at the ocean!
We just got back from the ocean and had an awesome time there. The photos above were taken when Greg and our daughter got up extra early to walk the beach at sunrise to look for seashells. Greg was born in south Jersey, so it was fun retracing his beginnings!

This was the path we took each morning to sun and swim in the ocean.
Here's the beach where we spent most of our days. This was early, but around 9:00 a.m. this place was filled with people and their umbrellas. Greg taught the kids how to body-surf as some of the waves were huge! Greg and our son saw Dolphins swimming together during the time they were body-surfing.

Our Condo was awesome! We had a kitchenette, and plenty of room to relax. Yes, that's me on our balcony. Our balcony faced the ocean.
We took the kids to the go-cart track that was under the Boardwalk. Here's our daughter alerting our son that it's time to get ready to race.

This shot was taken at dusk. Notice the full-moon in the sky....and the pretty surf, too!
Greg snapped this one by the Music Pier at night and caught the pretty moon-glow shimmering on the water. We had so much fun at the ocean and it was so relaxing. Hope you are having a great summer, too!

Our 17th Wedding Anniversary is fast approaching!

Hard to believe...it's been almost 17 years ago since we said....'I do'. Finally! I uncovered some of our wedding pictures as we prepare for our upcoming anniversary and...in light of William and Kate's recent royal wedding...here they are!

Our Favorite Wedding Picture

Our 17th year wedding anniversary is just around the corner! I'll be posting a few more of our favorite wedding photos and some from our long-ago Hawaiian Honeymoon as we get closer to our anniversary in May.

The camera you see was given to Greg by his beloved Uncle Walter, who too was a great photographer! As you can see, Greg really treasures this camera from his late Uncle, who brought this camera over from Europe.

Ice Festival in Medina, Ohio

Oh well...so much for the warm pictures we recently posted!

Just this past weekend, Greg and I along with our kids went with our good friends, the Miller's, to Medina for the annual ice-carving festival. The festival took place in the town square. It was unbelievable! It was also very cold, too!

We spent a lot of time looking at the beautiful ice carvings. Greg photographed a few of them below.

We had our own "ice-show" back at home. The recent freezing rain covered our evergreens and practically everything else around the house. Click on any picture to enlarge.

Greg's and my bedroom window had a sheet of ice on it. You could barely see out of it!

Winter is Almost Over!!!

THINK WARM!!! Here's some pictures that Greg took in our back yard from last spring and summer. A warm 'spring' fire in our backyard firepit and some 'summer' swimming pool shots. Just looking at these pictures helps us 'Zaryks' to think about the warm weather that's just around the corner. The frigid winter is ALMOST OVER!!!

Last summer, we had a pool party for the girls and the kids. The water was soooo warmmmmmm!

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with the Family

The whole family was over for the traditional Christmas Eve party at our home. Here niece Emily and the twins enjoy some time together.
